Because no child should have to heal in a warzone.

In times of war, survival is only the first step. For children injured in Gaza, true safety begins when they are removed from immediate danger and placed into environments where healing is possible – physically, emotionally, and psychologically.
“Establishing Safety” is one of HopeNest’s core missions. It represents our work to advocate for medical evacuations and to coordinate long-term treatment pathways for children who have experienced unimaginable trauma. Many of these children are amputees, burn victims, or survivors of direct attacks. Their recovery requires advanced medical care that is often impossible to access within Gaza’s overwhelmed and bombarded healthcare system.
We work closely with local families, international health authorities, and hospitals in Egypt and beyond to make the impossible happen – getting war-injured children out of danger and into life-saving care.
But evacuation is only the beginning.
Once a child is transported out of Gaza, we continue to walk with them. We help secure hospital beds, rehabilitation programs, prosthetic support, psychological care, and safe housing for them and their guardians. Our work also includes covering essential costs such as transport, medications, food, and the basic necessities of life in exile.
This cause is more than logistics – it is about dignity.
Every time we advocate for a border pass, coordinate a transfer, or raise funds for a child’s recovery, we are declaring:
“This life matters. This child deserves a future.”
We have seen firsthand the impact. We’ve cried tears of joy watching children like Hanan and Mesk, both amputees, cross the Rafah border after five months of advocacy.
Your support of this cause helps us continue this critical mission. When you give to Establishing Safety, you are not just donating – you are removing a child from war and giving them a chance to live.
Because safety is not just the absence of bombs – it’s the presence of care, love, and a future worth living for.
